Mr Sunil Kumar

Mr Sunil Kumar has a special interest in young adult hip surgery. He completed his medical degree at Bangalore Medical College, India, before moving to the UK for higher surgical training on the prestigious East of England Trauma & Orthopaedic Training Programme based around Cambridge. He undertook specialist training in young adult hip surgery at Cambridge and Northumbria, together with a travelling fellowship visiting specialist centres in Chicago, Colorado, Fribourg and Bern. His subspecialty practice encompasses all aspects of young adult hip surgery, including hip arthroscopy, femoral osteotomy, periacetabular osteotomy and primary total hip arthroplasty. He has a strong interest in training the next generation of surgeons and has held leadership roles in several orthopaedic societies.
