Mr Bua practises in hip and knee arthroplasty and general trauma. He completed his
orthopaedic training on the prestigious Percivall Pott London Orthopaedic Rotation,
developing a broad foundation in general trauma and lower limb arthroplasty. He then
undertook an international Fellowship in Arthroplasty and Lower Extremity
Reconstruction at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto, Canada, developing
further expertise in complex arthroplasty techniques including the direct anterior
approach for total hip replacement. He subsequently completed a UK-based post-CCT
Hampshire Hip Fellowship, consolidating his subspecialist hip reconstruction experience.
Beyond surgical practice he has a particular interest in quality improvement, patient
safety and pathway optimisation, having led multidisciplinary NHS projects focused on
improving outcomes, reducing delays and enhancing the efficiency of care delivery.
