Mr Ahmad Ali

Mr Ali joined Barking, Havering and Redbridge NHS Trust in 2003 and is a consultant knee specialist. He trained in Oxford, Sheffield and on the North West higher surgical training programme, and experience across three regions gave him a broad insight into managing complex orthopaedic conditions. He spent a year as a knee fellow developing specialist skills in multiple ligament reconstruction and primary and revision knee replacement, and also worked in two major specialist units in Canada. He is a user of computer-navigated knee replacement, which he regards as an invaluable tool for improving accuracy, function and implant longevity. He is a founder member of the Essex Knee Group and is extensively involved in research and teaching.
